Dear Clients,

Following the Government announcement on 4th January 2021, unfortunately we will have to close for all lessons from Tuesday 5th January 2021.

We hope to re-open as soon as we possibly can depending on Government guidelines.

Please keep in touch and we hope to see you very soon.

Dear Clients,

As of the 12th May 2020, The British Horse Society have clarified that riding schools can reopen for private lessons, whilst observing the current government guidance in relation to social distancing.

You will need to arrive for the lesson 10 minutes (maximum) before the start time and leave immediately after the lesson finishes.

It is essential that you make payment for the lesson one day in advance via BACS (no cash). If you fail to arrive for your lesson, you will lose the payment.

If you or any of your household are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if any of your household are self-isolating, you should stay at home.

If I have any symptoms, I will not teach. In these cases, a cancellation fee will not apply.

The rider and parent or guardian will be required to wear protective gloves or riding gloves at all times including opening and closing the gates. Please stay in your car until I arrive.

It is not possible to teach beginners or lead rein lessons for now. Please do not be offended if I have to say no, the safety of everyone is the most important thing. Please ask if you are unsure.

We must now bring the ponies back into work and put shoes back on certain ponies in preparation for reopening.

Here is the BHS website link for more information - www.bhs.org.uk

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards

Charlotte

31st March 2018

Dear Clients,

As you may or may not know with great regret Coker-Brown School of Riding is having to leave Ambrook Stables on the 30th April 2018.

We will be continuing to run lessons on the following April weekends 7th & 8th, 14th & 15th and 21st and 22nd. We will be running some Easter fun days on 3rd and 10th April.

The ponies and the children are extremely important to me. I have been desperately looking for other premises to keep the riding school open. Negotiations are in progress to secure another establishment.

I hope I can rely on your continued support. I will keep you informed of developments.

If you wish to book any of these dates, please let me know.

Kind regards

Charlotte Coker-Brown

Saddle up for new indoor riding school

By Herald Express | Posted: May 04, 2016

A SOUTH Devon riding school has expanded by opening new indoor premises to offer riding throughout the year and

after school lessons.

The Coker-Brown School of Riding, has moved from Staverton to Ambrook Stables at Torbryan, Newton Abbot. The move means that the business will be able to offer an indoor school.

Charlotte Coker-Brown, director, said: "This is an exciting opportunity, The indoor school means no more wet lessons. As well we know, the weather has a big impact on what we do. I feel this will be a very positive move."

Ponies Phoebe, Major, Dewi and Button are moving with her and she is hoping to buy some more to join the team.

Charlotte, a fully qualified licensed instructor, offers riding lessons for all ages and abilities with a weight limit of 10.5 stone.

There are no age restrictions, so tiny tots are welcome too.

There are private, semi-private or group lessons and club days on the weekends which include one-hour riding, two-hour stable management and caring for ponies.

In the school holidays, she runs pony days. Charlotte can also offer tailor-made birthday parties.

We are all moved into our new home. Both ponies and children are loving the new location. See the gallery for ponies and new location.

Dear All,

I am delighted to inform you of an exciting opportunity that has arisen.

I will be taking with me Phoebe, Major, Dewi and Button. I will be buying some more ponies to join our team.

I hope you will continue to join me on this new path.
